The historic Grand Hotel Savoia Cortina d’Ampezzo, A Radisson Collection Hotel, and the Radisson Residences Savoia Palace are scheduled to reopen on January 29th. Right on time for the Alpine World Ski Championships Cortina 2021, which will be held from 7 to 21 February, both resorts will be returned to the famous mountain town after an extensive renovation, which has renewed their offerings while still maintaining their unique identity.
“The World Ski Championships are an extraordinary event for Cortina, not to be missed! Our resort is ready to welcome our guests in total safety in line with government guidelines, and Radisson’s own policies, on dealing with the Covid emergency.”, confirms Rosanna Conti, General Manager of the Resort.
“Also, for this 2021 edition, the Grand Hotel Savoia has confirmed itself as the great point of reference for the ‘insiders’ of the event”, continues Rosanna Conti, “and I hope that it will be an auspicious sign to continue the winter season until late spring - especially considering the copious snowfalls that this year has ironically brought to Cortina.”
Built in 1912, in an Art Nouveau style, and now restored as a true symbol of Italian elegance and contemporary style, the 5-star Hotel recently joined the Radisson Group.
